5 Reasons You Should Always Have An MLM Business Plan
Because we are all independent business owners, it's imperative we each have an MLM Business Plan. This is important because our income is based solely off our performance.
Most of us jump into our business-building activities blind-folded (otherwise known as the Ready-Fire-Aim Strategy) which leads to boatloads of stress, debt, and never-ending confusion.
Instead, why not put together a solid, strategically-crafted, business plan?
Here are five reasons you should always have one.
(1) A Plan Saves You Time
If there's one thing that all high-performing marketers and business owners agree on, it's that they ALL value their time more than anything else.
Time is the one "asset" that you can never get more of. It is the MOST valuable resource we have.
Also, if you're like me, you've spent SOOOO much time already on one "money-making scheme" to another, only to find yourself constantly having to 'start over' because you failed to plan.
A quick side note. I really hate the ol' saying "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" but it REALLY is true (albeit very annoying, especially when heard over and over).

If you were to calculate what it costs to get started in Multi-Level-Marketing versus other traditional businesses, you would see that we networkers have an advantage (money-wise). Thanks to the WAY network marketing is set up, we have the ability to make HUGE profits with very little out-of-pocket expense.
Nonetheless, it's easy to get overwhelmed with necessary expenses like auto-shipments, company seminars, and marketing materials (not to mention personal development and training courses). These are all necessary for our growth and progression.
By the way, I didn't mention the cost of buying "opportunity leads" as a necessary expense because it is neither necessary nor a wise investment.
Plan ahead, set yourself a budget in relation to what you can afford, and you'll reduce unnecessary expenses.
(3) A Plan Saves You Energy
Did you know that many of the top-performers in the business world have SUPER high levels of energy? If they didn't, there's no way they could accomplish the monumental tasks they are faced with on a daily basis. I'm amazed at how they fly through their daily to-do-list so swiftly and make it look easy.
Their high energy levels are the main reason they're able to do this. One of the ways these "top-performers" INCREASE their energy is by reducing their stress.
One effective way to decrease stress is to INCREASE clarity.
An MLM Business Plan helps you do this. Because you'll know exactly what your next FOCUSED step is and how your going to get there. There'll be no need for unecessary energy expenditures.

Planning = Clarity = Decreased Stress = INCREASED energy for building your business.
(4) A Plan Can Help You Minimize Fear
One of the biggest reasons people fail to move forward with their business is because of fear.
You can combat this fear by writing out your plan into actionable steps. It does not need to be flawless, but the more clarity you can gain, the less fear you will have.
If you've mapped out your strategy beforehand you've overcome half the battle. Having a plan will reduce your fear and help you consistently take action, making you more likely to succeed.

Last but not least, let's touch on confidence (a quality present in ALL world-class performers). Being able to see the "big picture" of how your business is going to look is a giant confidence builder.
If you do a good job of creating your MLM business plan, you'll boost your confidence which will keep you from giving up.
