Now it's time for us to cover the basics of a marketing plan even deeper. In part two of this series we'll answer the question of "Who should create your marketing plan?" and explain what aspects you should be tracking and tweaking continuously. Lastly, I'll go over a simple strategy to differentiate yourself from your competition.
The Creator of Your MLM Marketing Plans?
You are really the only one who can create your mlm marketing plans. Because you know yourself better than any coach or mentor. You know your budget, you know your time and you probably have a good idea as to what your strengths and weaknesses are. You'll know when you've pushed yourself too far and when it's time to step it up.
A coach can help you discover these things about yourself but ultimately it's up to you to create and execute your mlm marketing plan. One of my favorite teachers of all time, Mark Joyner, taught me the importance of tweaking 3 elements of your marketing on a consistent basis. (1) Intensity - Crank up the intensity of your marketing campaign. The idea here is to reach more people. You could do this by post more content on the internet, mailing out more postcards, or by syndicating more of the content you've already created. (2) Efficiency - Increase the conversion of your content. Each marketing piece you create should have a purpose (i.e. join an email list, generate a phone call, direct someone to a website, etc.). You can increase the efficiency of each piece by increasing your skill level in whatever area you're using. For example: If you're using the phone as a prospecting method, you could improve your conversion by making sure you identify PRE-qualified leads before spending too much time with them. (3) Regeneration - This is done when you regenerate people back into your business through methods such as: Word of mouth, product excellence, affiliate programs, and incentive programs. A Simple Method to Differentiate Yourself It's no secret that network marketing is a competitive market. With the low cost and ease of the internet, it's likely to get even more competitive. Hence, the importance of standing out from your competition dramatically goes up. Finding a way to differentiate yourself should be one of the many components to take into considerations with your mlm marketing plans. One simple way to differentiate yourself from the crowd is to tell your own personal story about why you got into network marketing in the first place and the struggles you've had to go through to get where you are today. Personalize your story to you and your experiences. Because each person is different, no two people will have the same story. Stories are a great way to emotionally engage a human being and persuade them to your way of thinking. In life and in marketing, there are no guarantees you'll be successful. Yet, understanding the importance of creating mlm marketing plans is one way to increase your odds. If you combine tracking and tweaking with a solid mlm marketing plan, and stay consistent, there's no reason you should see amazing mlm marketing success.
