I'm not sure I know the answer to that question but I have a theory.
I think it might have something to do with the actual methods you've been practicing.
You see, cold calling, making names lists, and telling your friends and family about your business model aren't effective approaches for everyone.
Not everyone has developed the confidence, charisma, and charm it takes to persuade people to take a look at something they never even expressed an interest in in the first place.
Instead, one thing I've continuously observed top network marketers doing is selling themselves and their marketing system. And they do so through educational mlm marketing techniques.
This allows them to position themselves as the "go-to" guy that everyone wants to learn and buy from.
How neat would it be if YOU became that guy.
Well not only is it possible but very probable if you just make a few tweaks to a the way you do business.

It's all about the mlm marketing.
This may seem obvious at first but it's amazing how many people put their emphasis on the wrong things.
They chase compensation plans, boast of superior products, and idealize their company's corporate leadership.
Those things are all very important, especially when deciding which company you should go with, however, they are not as important as your Marketing.
World-renowned entrepreneur, author, and marketer Seth Godin had this to say about the subject:
"Marketing is all there is. You don't win with better shipping or manufacturing or accounts payable. You win with better marketing."

Marketing is marketing and it applies to us no matter what business we are in.

If you haven't noticed already, the network marketing industry doesn't place much emphasis on the skill of mlm marketing.
In fact, one of the many great falsehoods taught by mlm companies is that "All of your marketing is done for you."
Even if that were true, it's obvious that the marketing mlm companies are doing for their distributors isn't working. If it was, everyone in mlm would be millionaires.
If you'd like to join the ranks of those who actually are making money, I highly suggest you start learning how to market yourself as soon as possible; don't rely on your mlm company to do it for you.
One way to get started marketing yourself is to create your very own blog online. Blogs are a very cost-effective and quick way to generate cash and leads online...if you know how.
