Network Marketing Recruiter Must-Knows:

What Is It That Motivates
Your Prospects to Be Successful?

As a network marketing recruiter, you'll often have the chance to connect with prospects one-on-one or over the phone prior to sponsoring. Perhaps you'll even conduct an interview or present your company compensation plan to them before you officially sign them up for your business.

During this "interview" process you'll often get the chance to ask recruits what motivates them to be successful in Network Marketing. You get to really dive deep into their emotions and beliefs and find out what really drives them to conquer their goals.

The answers they give you can be great indicators as to whether or not that prospect will be one of your better business partners.

It's important to recognize the attributes of a potential business partner. Unfortunately, not all network marketing recruits are created equal.

If you knew what attributes to look for as a network marketing recruiter, you'd have a better chance of sponsoring people who could develop into future leaders on business builders for your team.

In this article, I'll talk about what motivates most network marketers (unfortunately, this may be the #1 thing that hinders them as well) and what to look for in a solid recruit.

The #1 Thing That Motivates Network Marketers to Be Successful (And Why it Often Ends Up Hindering Them Instead)

Many of the recruits I've worked with in the past (including me) go into business (or want to get into it) because of a desire to "earn more money."

Money, in and of itself, is not a bad thing. The problem is, many network marketers focus way too much energy and focus on money and lose sight of what this business is all about.

Not only that, but money by itself isn't going to keep somebody motivated for very long. I've had plenty of jobs where the money, or the potential for money, was very good but I hated the job so I didn't stick around.

I also know people who have a lot of the green stuff but they don't have any time and therefore, don't enjoy what they do.

People often discount the fact that money comes as a byproduct to the skills and value that is presented to the world. In order to make more money, more value must be provided and additional skills developed.

Instead of money, recruits would have more success if instead their focus was on developing the sales and marketing skills needed to thrive in business.

The more skills you develop and the better at them you become, the more money you'll earn. They go hand in hand.

Therefore, as a network marketing recruiter, shy away as much as possible from using "money" as recruitment bait and focus more on leadership and skill development. These are lifetime skills that will serve any person well.

Did you know that one of the most valuable skills you can develop (and teach your team) for the purpose of MLM recruiting, is that of creating attractive content for your prospects?

On the internet, content is king and will do more to elevate you in your business than anything else I know of.

Content positions you as an expert, PRE-sells your prospects, and makes your job of sponsoring new distributors much easier.
