To Leverage Your Business

Choosing to only contact pre qualified MLM leads is one of the fastest ways to explode your downline. The more qualified your MLM lead is, the better chance you have of closing them on your business opportunity.

What Are Pre Qualified MLM Leads?

A pre qualified MLM lead can be defined in many different ways. I like to think of a pre qualified MLM lead as someone who has purchased a product from you, whether it be your product or an affiliate program.

Another way to tell if an MLM lead is pre qualified or not, is to measure how many different marketing channels they went through before conversing with you on the phone.

For example: A lead that reads one of your articles.... watches a video....then joins your email list....then downloads a free report...then buys a low cost product from you.... is a VERY good pre qualified MLM lead.

Compare this to someone who clicks on an Google Adwords ad and immediately buys your ebook. You haven't built as much of a relationship with that prospect as you could.

Are Your Leads Pre-Qualified or Just Qualified?

A qualified lead is someone in your target market who has given you permission to begin communicating with them. If they are on your email list, they are probably very qualified and at least somewhat interested in what you have to offer. The more you communicate with them, the more pre qualified they become.

One way to measure how qualified your leads are, is to sort your email list by who has bought something from you and who hasn't. A lead that has purchased a product (especially if it's yours) is a pre-qualified lead. They are ready for the next step. Your opportunity and your expertise are what you should offer them next.

How to Make Money From Leads

Let's face it. Everyone who comes to our websites, blogs, etc is going to leave eventually. Your job is to maximize each visitor by setting up as many monetization streams as possible.

Think adsense, affiliate programs, consulting services, ebooks, etc.

That way when leads visit your marketing channels, you can make money from them even if they leave your website. This is so much more powerful than the old methods of buying leads or CD's to send to people.

The "Allure" of Lead Purchasing

Purchasing leads to call may seem like a great idea at first glance. Honestly, who would want to waste time generating their own MLM leads, when they can just buy them right? It seems like a much easier and faster way.

Problem is, purchased leads don't know you from Adam. They've never seen, heard, and more importantly, never received any value from you first. Their guard is up and you'll have a hard time selling them on what you offer.

On the other hand, if you take the time to set up a marketing system that generates leads for you, those people will come to know YOU through your marketing. When it's time to connect with them, they will have already received so much value from you. It will be alot easier to connect with them and you have a better chance of getting them involved in your business.

How to Compartmentalize Your Business Activities

As a smart business owner you realize the importance of leverage. You want to spend your time on things that will garner you the greatest return on investment. Do your best to spend as much time as you can setting up your marketing system. You want to get this to the point where you've got pre-qualified MLM leads contacting you.

It's also a good idea to spend time on the phone with people when appropriate. However, marketing is where your biggest dividends will be paid. Set up your marketing system to sift and sort prospects for you, then spend time on the phone talking with and closing the best leads.

Who Should You Spend Valuable Time With?

Spend your time with people that have purchased a product from you. These people have shown that they are willing to take action by handing over some cash. You want serious people as business partners. There is no sense in wasting time with looky-loos and tire-kickers.

This is the best method you have for knowing who is a pre-qualified MLM lead. If someone isn't willing to spend $50-$100 on training that will help them, they wont be willing to do all the other hard work it takes to build an MLM business.
