The best network marketing company is a term thrown around the industry fairly regularly. The problem is, it's a very subjective term. Every mlm business has it's own strengths and weaknesses and none are perfect or "best" for every person. Some are solid on their product line but lack decent marketing; whereas others provide excellent compensation but don't have a great product to back it up. Researching and finding the best company for you is a task that you shouldn't take lightly. After all, if you've developed the long-term vision we so often talk about here at smart-mlm-business.com, you know by now that network marketing can and does take time to build. It would be a pity to work so hard on your leadership, marketing, and relationship building only to find out later on that you picked the wrong business. But how can you know for sure you've chosen the right one? I'm not sure if you'll ever know which is the best network marketing company but there are a few things you can research and look into before you join. There are a few things any good network marketing company must have before you should even think twice about signing up. Going through this checklist I'm about to outline along with your own critical thinking skills will help you feel much more confident you've made the right choice. If you're already in a company, you can re-evaluate if you made the right decision the first time. If you didn't, it's not too late to switch or add another company to your arsenal. Having the confidence that you made a good decision and picked the best network marketing company for you will help free up your stress and allow you to work more efficiently. Because you've gotten this important step out of the way, you can spend your time where it is needed the most; marketing. Here's five things any legitimate network marketing company must have. Must Have #1: A Solid Product
The first thing your mlm opportunity must have is a sound product with ample demand.
One of the most basic rules of marketing is find out if there's a demand for your product or service. Take a little bit of time to research the target market for the product you're interested in promoting. I've gathered a list of basic questions from www.SBA.gov that you may want to ask yourself when researching network marketing companies.
Analyze these questions "as-if" you had already joined the company.
- Who are my customers and potential customers?
- What kind of people are they?
- Where do they live?
- Can and will they buy?
- What do customers think of my business?
- How does my business compare with my competitors?
In order to find the answers to those questions you will want to use a variety (at least 3) different sources. Books, magazines, and the internet are all great places to start.
Must Have #2: Revenue Supported By Product Sales
Knowing the different between a pyramid scheme and a legitamate network marketing business comes in handy when you're performing your research.
For starters, any legitimate network marketing company earns profits and revenue based on product sales. There must be movement of product in order for the company to earn a profit.
In other words, when you're looking for the best network marketing company, one question you'll want to ask yourself is "Can I make money without sponsoring anyone?" If the answer is "no" stay away from it.
The company must give you a choice on whether you would like to earn commission off of just product sales or not.
